Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) And Senior Government Officials Inaugurated And Visited Irrigation, Mining And Infrastructure Development Projects In Wallagga Regions. These Projects Are Crucial To Strengthen The Economy Of The Region And Ensure The Benefits Of The People. Shimelis Abdisa, President Of The Orissa State Government.

Today, we visited the home of many opportunities in the Wallagga Regions with World Peace Laureate our Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), senior government officials and entrepreneurs. We have inaugurated the Qeexoo Irrigation Infrastructure Development Project in Qeellam Wallagga Region and the Arjoo Stone Factory in Arjoo District of East Wallagga Region. We launched the Tulluu Kapi Gold Project in West Wallagga and visited the Arjoo Dhidheessaa Irrigation Dam Project under construction between Jimma, Bunnoo Baddallee and East Wallagga. We also looked at the initiatives that are ensuring the benefits of the people in these districts. The Transformational Leadership led by our Prime Minister, asbahe with the answer to the question ‘why did our people not get out of trouble when they have land, minerals, water and power?’. Thus, he realized that the main reason for our conspiracy was structural breakdown, especially ideological and practical structures. This solution measure analyzed not only the production situation but also human development; it follows a multi-dimensional rather than a one-dimensional process. Accordingly, water management is being given high attention at the household, community and government levels. Soil protection, stream development activities and the Green Signal Initiative program are being implemented. Our mineral resources are being managed with enabling, and even highly responsible, laws and practices. Above all, extensive efforts are being made to advance our human resources in terms of understanding, knowledge, skills and work culture. The Qeexoo Irrigation and Arjoo Dhiidhessaa Irrigation Dam are just a few of the expansion works being carried out by the government in the field of water management. Especially when the Arjoo Dhiidhessaa Irrigation Dam is completed, it will produce billion cubic meters of water. 2.53 hectares of land. 80,000 crore. Currently, the performance has reached 89.7%. These projects will not only open up the untouched agricultural fields of these areas but also expand production opportunities and increase the production cycle for our community. It will move our local community towards development initiatives, savings and wealth creation, and above all, it will enable the transition to realize its livelihood. These mining projects are indicative of the direction in which the Transitional Government is choosing mining as an emerging sector of the economy to realize a sustainable economy. On the other hand, the public-private partnership in the development of the Cape Hill Project is a tangible indicator of the improvements we have made in practice. These projects have contributed significantly to the economic stability of our gorge by increasing foreign exchange earnings and reducing the exchange rate used for imports. Overall, our region, especially the Western Oromia Regions, has great potential in agricultural and mining development. I would like to assure you that our regional leadership will work day and night to ensure the benefits of the people by mobilizing the people from border to border on these ideas and initiatives formulated by our Prime Minister. Finally, I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and the Government of the Oromia Regional State for the warm welcome you have given us.
